About Eric

Rosebud Economic Development Corporation (REDCO)

Eric Kills A Hundred is an enrolled member of the Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribe.  Eric works as the Data Management Coordinator for the Rosebud Economic Development Corporation (REDCO), where he focuses on expanding the corporations’ footprint in the federal marketplace.  REDCO is a participant in the 8a business development program and has several active HUBZone applications.  Eric has been instrumental in navigating the application process, developing internal processes, and pursuing federal opportunities for REDCO.

Prior to working for the tribe, Eric worked for the Native American Contractors Association (NACA).  Hired as a Legislative Assistant, Eric worked his way into becoming the Associations’ Legislative Director. While at NACA Eric became a familiar face on Capitol Hill, interfacing with Congressional members and their staff, championing the NACA message.  Eric also worked with agency officials to promote continued and expanded use of Native contractors.

Eric holds a Masters’ of public administration and a Baccalaureate in general studies from the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO).  As graduate assistant Eric helped to develop the Universities Tribal Management and Emergency Services program and supporting curriculum.  During this same time Eric made the most of a summer internship at the American Red Cross (ARC), becoming the ARC’s North Central Regional Tribal Liaison.  After working in the building trades for several years Eric was motivated to continue his education by a promise he had made to his grandmother.  While she was not able to see his academic success, Eric recognizes that his success is directly tied to his family and community.
